The Computer Engineering Department (EC) was established in 1978, and has grown to the present complement of more than 25 professors plus several teaching  and laboratory assistants.

The EC Department offers undergraduate degree program (B.Sc.) in computer engineering. The program provides students with a strong background in mathematics, basic sciences, engineering science, engineering design and complementary studies, in conformity with international level. The department also offers graduate degree program (M.Sc.)  with a focus on  control systems and systems design. The department has more than eight laboratories to support a variety of courses. These labs are equipped with state-of-the-art experiment platforms, Oscilloscopes, PC workstations and support software/hardware, etc.
